John Njomo

Managing Partner

He is the Managing Partner at Kamotho Njomo & Company and is in charge of Conveyancing, Property Law and Mortgage Finance (main area of practice), Commercial Litigation, Company Acquisitions and Restructuring, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Banking, Elections Disputes, Intellectual Property and Criminal Litigation.

He has been a key figure in the provision of counsel to a wide range of clientele in the firm. He holds wide-ranging experience in practice and has litigated in all the courts within the country ranging from Magistrates Courts to the Supreme Court of Kenya where he was one of the lawyers that appeared for a party in the 2022 Presidential Election Petition before the Supreme Court.

He has also handled other matters including Environment and Land cases, children welfare matters and Criminal Litigation.

As regards Conveyancing, he is the firm’s link to various financial institutions and has advised various Banks on the perfection of securities (Mortgages and Charges) and transfers of interest in land.

In addition, he is currently running various property development projects representing developers in the preparation of Joint Venture Agreements, Special Purpose Vehicles to undertake the property development and sale of housing units within Nairobi City County.
